Commissioned by the Nebraska State Handbell Musicians of America in memory of Mary Kettelhut, one of the pioneers of American handbell ringing, the "Southern Harmony" hymn RESTORATION is arranged for a double choir with percussion but may also be played by a single choir. Light finger damping may accompany the melody, which is presented in two slightly different versions throughout. This short arrangement includes no accidentals except for the final chord and is appropriate year-round for worship or concert use.
