By joining the ChimeWorks community you are given access to a wealth of information regarding handchimes. We include the history of handchimes, their design and maintenance as well as all of the technical information needed to teach ringing. We will guide you as you energize your classroom or rehearsal with downloadable lesson plans that include compliancy points, objectives, teaching processes and student assessment guides. Our accompaniment tracks (available to you soon) will turn your lesson plans into performances! If you are building a successful handchime ensemble, all of the aspects of leadership are included – equipment and set-up, membership and recruitment, assignments and repertoire selection, ringing techniques, rehearsal planning, repertoire and musicality.
Our resources are comparable to none. Our regularly updated database of repertoire is created with success in mind. It includes music titles that resound on handchimes. We offer rehearsal tips for some pieces as well. Our articles on teaching aides, compliancy, grant writing and tips for teaching will keep your leadership fresh and relevant.
You are not alone. Come flourish with us as you engage in our community! Chat with other handchime leaders, ask a question, share a success story, upload a video of a great lesson taught, mentor others and obtain invaluable information from your peers. Do it from your desktop, mobile device or by attending a ChimeWorks continuing education event.
Be rewarded by submitting a lesson plan for review for inclusion in our resources and be paid for your expertise, creativity and talent. The more downloads you have – the more you earn.
